1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Park-N-Lot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including drivers, hosts, fleet managers, and visitors.

2. Platform Description

Park-N-Lot is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects truck drivers with property owners who have available parking space. Park-N-Lot facilitates bookings and payments but is not responsible for the condition, safety, or legality of any parking location listed on the platform.

3. Driver Responsibilities

• Drivers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
• Drivers are responsible for verifying that a parking location is suitable for their vehicle before parking
• Drivers must provide accurate vehicle information including truck type, length, and license plate
• Drivers must not park in spaces they have not booked and paid for
• Drivers are responsible for any damage caused to a parking property
• Community-reported free parking is not verified by Park-N-Lot. Drivers use free parking listings at their own risk

4. Host Responsibilities

• Hosts must have legal authority to list and rent their parking property
• Hosts must accurately describe their property including size, amenities, and restrictions
• Hosts must maintain their property in a safe and accessible condition
• Hosts must honor confirmed bookings and provide access as described
• Hosts are responsible for complying with local zoning and commercial parking regulations

5. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed through Stripe. Park-N-Lot charges a service fee on each booking. Hosts receive payouts after the booking is completed, minus the platform fee. Refund policies vary by booking type:

• Cancellations made 2+ hours before check-in are eligible for a full refund
• Cancellations made less than 2 hours before check-in may not be refunded
• No-shows are not eligible for refunds
• Disputes must be filed within 48 hours of the booking end time

6. Safety Disclaimer

Park-N-Lot is not liable for theft, damage, injury, or any other loss that occurs at a parking location listed on our platform.

7. Prohibited Uses

• Using the platform for any illegal purpose
• Providing false information about your vehicle or identity
• Attempting to circumvent the payment system
• Harassing or threatening other users
• Posting false or misleading reviews
• Attempting to book spaces without intent to pay

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Park-N-Lot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of Park-N-Lot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
